fasting month.

the ramadhan month is finally here! some made lists of food to consume before ramadhan starts and some makes plan for the ramadhan month itself. this is the month where we give our little tummy or bulging tummies a rest for the year. but eating a long table full of food at the end of every day doesn't rilly spell REST for the stomach. so, this time around (insyallah) i'm determined to take full use of this 'stomach-resting-period'. i'm going on a full fledge dates & water fast. =) yes, this may be very challenging but i will try my very best to pull thru. push aside all those demonic eating nafsu. now i'm living on the other motto "makan untuk hidup" not the other way. hahha, god give me strength. amin.

7 dates & water, kazem.

growing old alone.

this may be some real scary shit for me. i love to watch people a lot. i can't help it. i see things that i rarely want to. i notice things. bawah my dagu a little swollen, so me and dad was at the klinik. i was asked to sit at another end coz ramai org around him so takut menyangkit whatever they had. so today, i noticed there were plenty of old people. alone. no one accompanying these people and they seemed far from lost. forgive me nurses docs whoever in charge with the system, but it doesn't work pretty well. if u're a first time in the klinik. u wudn't have a clue of what the proceudre is like at all. everything is everywhere and u dunno where to start. i was confused once. and a little now. but i'm not an elderly yet. i can still see properly and make sense of things around me easily. but they need a little help. a little gesture of kindness. a few seconds is all it rilly takes. yes some old folks may be a little egoistically stubborn and konon2 tawu buat sndiri but who doesn't liked being helped. i do. no no i didn't help anyone, yet. i just observed. i wondered why they were alone in times of pain. i wondered where the others were? were they intentionally alone. were they abandoned? were they always independent this way? i had no answers. some had very long sad faces on them. scratching their heads for the way to go. why didn't the nurses feel the need to lend a hand? they are busy they trully are. i bet they have the most stressfull job yet. people despise them, they despise the people. they work hard, earn little, and no one trully appreciates them. so every one please give them a break. okay, back to the old folks. if you have your own folks, never leave them alone. even if they say they can manage. they're just testing ur loyalty. help them please. be with them. people say they can survive on their own but everyone loves another person's human touch once in a while. from now on, put a smile on, say your golden words and lend a hand.
have fun, kazem.

breaking heart.

yes people it has ended. unbelievable. seriously. i've been hoping that the books would continue a little bit futher but "the end" was printed on the last page. i can't believe it. it was a large book. thicker than the rest. undeniably too quick to be finished too. i noticed that come middle of the story, it began to be skipping. like the story was in a rush. skipping few momments, hours, days, weeks then months. i wouldn't mine having to wait till the end of the year if it meant that the story would grow deeper without the skipped parts. 2000 pages pun takpe. =) i have ample of time. especially for vampires. hearthrobing ones. some parts were predictable. like Bella's survival. Jacob's imprinting on Renesme. it was rather a low flow book this time. not too much tension. not over the edge suspense. its like you knew it was gonna be a happy ending. which pretty much sux a little. i love twists. eventho it annoys me. i love the tension btween Bella and Edward. the resistance. the lust. but when it was all done with, it was just too easy. fairytale like, almost. minus the Volutri ofcourse.

aching for more, kazem.

mommacakes' 1st wedding gig.

Alhamdulilah! drove into UTM pass thru an extra friendly pak guard (NOT!) and made a few right turns and voila white kemahs everywhere! we parked, unloaded, snapped pictures and got inside. the dewan was beautifully decorated with purple theme colors spread everywhere. just a cozy little dewan. very intimate too! saw the cake tier and started arraging the cakes. mommy made most of the color cordination while i unpacked and izni made herself useful with the camera. the bride's sister came, we saw the bride's mom, a couple of guests but no bride. sorry! =( maybe some other day ya diana? neways, manage to dump a few cards as well just in case ppl were asking about the cakes! XD we ate a variety of food, rupenyer the mother is a caterer herself, with a company called 'Mak Jah' kot? selling cute pieces of frozen goods like karipap, donuts and rengas too (little baby rengas). hope the reception went well and the couple loved the cakes!

want to arrage more cakes, kazem.

mommaboxes!

i would love to thank God almighty, nestle, giant hypermarket leisure mall, my DAD, syahir and our faithful kenari ! yes, i'm exxxagggerating my thank yous BUT who cares! i am super happy with the findings of these extraodinary boxes that practically came down from the blue skies above! thank you!! who knew that yogurts got packed in such. the holes in the boxes fits mommacakes' cupcakes perfectly tho we had to trim it a little (thanks mommy!) but it works! isn't it just amazing how things drop into place. ahhhhh bliss! tomoro ade the first wedding gig and i have to carry all 110 cupcakes to the venue and arrage them myself. ;) happy and nervous at first because i've never tried removing my cakes from their boxes. too risky! it's almost like once put it, take as many pictures as u wished, b4 eating them! hehhhehe i didnt need to worry about them till few days back and i got the phone call order from a dear wedding planner ;D with these new trays (boxes =P) it'll be super handy insyallah!
happy with her new found boxes, kazem.
