it was one of the biggest week of my life for two important reasons; a quarter of our pancake got hitched & we've officially graduated!
----------------------------------------------------
we've come a long way thru mountains and ditches. and finally one of us has graduated to the next level in life. we've always discussed about who among us four wud be the first to be lift off their feet by a knight in shining armor but Vie's name never came up first as she always denies that it wud be her eventho she does consider herself well equipped *wink winks* LOL this was my very first wedding. oh yes i've been to several weddings in my 23 almost 24 years of life but i've never rilly been part of one. and now i have. to see all family members and neighbours from all over coming to 'rewang' filled my heart with warmth and wonder. i cudn't stop myself from counting and wondering who wud actually be at mine?! and it freaked me out. her place was packed with loved ones who were busy preparing for her special day. not even the slightest complain when the queen of THE DAY summons them. ;) i got myself involved in the inai part and packing up the baulu and cakes part. eventho those two were very very small parts of what the whole commotion was, i was very happy to be given a chance. i even got my nails some inai. and every time i look at em', i too want to get hitched. LOL serious. well i kinda gotta wait for my knight first, and he doesn't have to be in a shining armor, he just have to have the heart of gold ;)
make her smile & dry her tears! ok, wan? ;)
our now officially wed friend was busy enjoying her VERY VERY very special gift from us that they decided to ditch the convocation and head straight for privacy among the other strangers in Cameron highlands. ;) we hope you had FUNs!! we did. well it was an event for the grandchildren, as we always say. went there with no clue to where to park or where to gather. we parked at the wrong area and had to stopped the bus ourselves. thankfully pakgad was helpful on that day. got on a bumpy swirvy ride up the uitm mountain in heels and white outfits. so not like a graduate. lol we were almost hitchhiking it. no glam intended. got up there and got lost. oh btw, the parents were queueing up like sheep. no seriously, no offends at all but wasnt it like that from the day we had to colect our robes?! bodies were glued onto each other without a single moral thought. pfffft and i tot touching bukan muhrim was haram ;P my parents decided to ditch the whole thing when they found out how not comfortable it was going to be for them, well they were comparing mine to khaaliq's graduation day which ofcourse was held at the biggest hall; PICC. ample parking space. no sweating. and no touching of the stanky human sponge. hehhhhe LOL. but all in all it was a blast. i got to be there with friends and classmates and strangers. i sat there for a stretch of almost 5 hours and took plenty pix. not as much as i hoped but plenty. the whole moment of going up stage and bowing felt like a minute. 5 years of being co-independent and i got only a minute on stage. oh well, i say its worth every second. tho i might insyallah have more graduations in the future, this will be the most memorable one. why? because i graduated from being a girl to becoming a woman thru out those years with those people. i love you jehan vie nani!
